Design Tips
Landscaping design tips you should follow
A professional landscape design project can add a considerable amount of value and appeal to the looks of your home. To pull it off however, you should start by considering the design process described below before you meet with your professional landscape designer (That's me).
Phase 1: Gather together your ideas, maybe some photo examples, a description or rough sketch of what you would like to have. Let your designer know if you have a budget to work with.
This will provide your landscape designer with a starting point to build on as to the best types of plants to chose and a discussion of any hardscape ideas you may have.
Phase 2: Your landscape designer will suggest various design concepts, hardscape materials, pathways, fence designs, outdoor cooking areas, water features, irrigation choices, etc.
Phase 3: When all of the ideas have been considered, the plans are created and any final changes are discussed.
At this point, the work of implimenting your design begins with the hardscape features and any irrigation needs, followed by the placement of your plants, trees and ground cover if included.
You are now ready to start enjoying the fruits of your work and your newly landscaped yards.
